Logistics Director
Central Poland
Our client is one of the leading Polish distributors in printing media sector. The company is expanding rapidly so they are now looking for an experienced logistics personality to act as Logistics Director to manage all Supply Chain and Distribution Center's operations.
MISSION
Reporting to the board you will be responsible for all Logistics / Supply Chain activities of the company. Some of the major duties will include:

Ensuring that the quality, volume and accuracy of the site meets the required standard via use of key performance indicators
|
|
|
Management of the revision of processes and procedures and identification and implementation of best practices
|
|
|
Budget management including monitoring costs and implementing cost savings
|
|
|
Responsibility for internal and external stock movement planning
|
|
|
Contribution to and management of specific projects especially in the IT area
|
|
|
Management and control of third party supplier contracts
|
|
|
Working with other senior managers to ensure site security
|
|
|
Site manpower planning
|
|
|
Other tasks as required
|
REQUIREMENTS
Some of the requirements you may need for this job:
|
|
University Degree in relevant area (Logistics, Supply Chain)
|
|
|
5 years management experience within a fast moving, mutliregional DC
|
|
|
Solid background in FMCG or similar leading edge logistics business
|
|
|
Systems literate with a detailed understanding of WMS/ ERP issues
|
|
|
Strong leadership and communication skills
|
|
|
Fluent English
