Quality Systems Manager - FMCG
Northern Europe
Our client is a large international FMCG company with a well-known brand of products. Due to their dynamic development and worldwide expansion they are now expanding and consolidating their Purchasing and Supply chain operation. For their new corporate HQ-s located in one of the North European capital cities they are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager.
MISSION
As part of the Group Quality Assurance function and working closely with other functions you will be responsible for developing and improving client’s corporate Quality System with the objective of ensuring that the Quality System incorporates best practice and adds value and gives the Right Quality products. You will be reporting to the Group Quality Assurance Director. Some of the major tasks will include:

Auditing the quality system on an ongoing basis at several manufacturing sites
|

Managing the Quality System internal audit program to ensure ongoing compliance
|
|
Establishing a training program to ensure that new and existing employees understand the Quality System
|
|
Managing supplier internet site, which makes standards, policies and requirements visible to the supplier base
|
|
When necessary, working with suppliers to improve their Quality Systems
|
|
Working within the Quality team to develop and improve the company Quality Code of Practice and audit process
|
|
Working within the Product Non-Conformance Process to close out any quality system related non-conformances
|
|
Be a company advocate of Quality values and policies.
|
|
Other tasks as necessary
|
REQUIREMENTS
Some of the requirements for the above role include:
|
Degree level education in Science, Food Science, Pharmacy, Engineering or other suitable discipline
|
|
At least 7 years experience is required in the field of Quality Assurance/Quality Control
|
|
Substantial Quality background, preferably within Cosmetics, Food or Pharmaceuticals
|
|
Substantial experience in process mapping and the development and management of Quality Systems
|
|
Good general experience in a dynamic production and supply chain environment
|
|
Experience in FMCG (cosmetics manufacturing) is a plus
|
|
Readiness to frequent travels to various international locations
|
|
Fluent English, other languages are additional asset
|
