Purchasing Managers
Sourcing, NPD, Accessories, Indirect
Northern Europe
Our client is a large international FMCG company with a well-known brand of products. Due to their dynamic development and worldwide expansion they are now expanding and consolidating their Purchasing and Supply chain operation. For their new corporate HQ-s located in one of the North European capital cities they are now looking for several experienced Supply Chain and Purchasing experts.
MISSION
We are looking for individuals who can create value and join client’s Purchasing team in one of the following areas:

New Product Development (NPD)
Supporting the development of new products through: assessment and selection of suppliers, negotiations and management of the purchasing process until launch, all in close teamwork with members of marketing, packaging development, research etc.

Sourcing
Building and maintaining and supplier relationships, finding new sources, evaluating overall market situation and recommending commodity strategies. Measure supplier performance and work to improve & develop the business. In order to create and maintain the right supplier base for the client with Value Creation by continuous improvements.
|
|
Accessories
Responsible for spend related to fashion categories like Jewellery & Bags with sourcing done mainly in Asia where a good understanding of the local customs and experience with trading in this area is key. Regular travel is required.
|
|
Indirect Spend
Managing various areas of indirect spend like: Services (travel, energy) and Equipment (office, communication) in order to develop and implement the strategy and maintain global relationships. Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement them.

REQUIREMENTS
Some of the requirements for the above roles include:
|
Degree level education in relevant area
|
|
At least 5 years of general experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain
|
|
At least 2 years of specific experience in one of the above mentioned specific areas
|
|
Experience in a dynamic environments (FMCG, cosmetics or likes)
|
|
Confident, good negotiation, presentation and leadership skills, able to think both strategically as well as do the details
|
|
Fluent English, other languages are additional asset
|
