Our client is an international leader in beauty products, with worldwide known brand and operations in several countries worldwide. Polish manufacturing facility and efficient Supply Organisation plays increasingly important role in the overall operation of the group. For their modern manufacturing and operations facility close to Warsaw they are now looking for the experienced EMEA Commodity Manager.

MISSION
Reporting to the Category Manager and working in close cooperation with business units and suppliers you will be responsible purchasing of the manufacturing / packaging materials in an efficient, professional and cost effective manner in order to create and sustain a competitive advantage, thereby contributing to the maximisation of company profitability. Your particular duties will include among the others:


Development and submission of the regional and global commodity sourcing strategies for approval by the Category Sourcing Managers and VP Sourcing as dictated by the approval process.

Leading cross category commodity teams to achieve material cost reduction targets, whilst maintaining supply reliability and delivery of the required innovation plan.

Advice on global supplier network capabilities and commodity/spend category trends and industry best practices.

Evaluation of the supplier capabilities and establishment of the sources for new technologies and in new markets as business requirements dictate

Responsibility for the supplier management process, supplier selection, supplier rating, supplier development, supplier reduction and supplier performance.

REQUIREMENTS
Some of the requirements for this role include:

University Degree in relevant field

At least 5 years professional experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.

Skilled in all Procurement Process disciplines and working knowledge in specific commodities and spend categories

Working knowledge in e-procurement processes and systems

High degree of problem solving and decision-making ability

Ability to work in diverse environments and adhere to highest ethical standards

Demonstrated cross-functional team work

Fluent English (additional languages are advantage)
