This is an opportunity to lead the region of Central European Procurement including Russia, Slovenia and Poland, with a number of smaller affiliate/sales operations within this cluster. Holding a supervisor capacity you will be indirectly managing a team and seen as a manager’s manager – leading through example and working closely with country heads within the region.
MISSION
Reporting into the global CPO, the role will be managing and influencing a spend of c$500m, within an organisation that has a total spend of c$1.2bn. With dual responsibility the successful candidate will work across division and corporate group.
You will be encouraged to deliver maximum commercial benefit through demand reduction, process improvements and price reductions initiatives, while ensuring solutions are sustainable and fit for purpose, as you will be responsible through the implementation of overall strategy, providing effective processes and systems. You will be seen as a key contributor to the procurement team and its overall effectiveness.

Increase Procurement effectiveness (realize the benefits of productivity and process improvements such as outsourcing, cross-divisional category management, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS
For this assignment you will need some of the following:
|
University degree in the relevant field
|
|
Outstanding record in all aspects of Procurement and Sourcing.
|
|
Strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate and implement procurement strategies to significantly improve cost efficiency for the global business.
|
|
Deep business understanding in the relevant category and ability to quickly establish credibility and build strong relationship with a group of highly demanding internal stakeholders.
|
|
Excellent knowledge of the supplier market and market trends are significant advantages.
|
|
Highly developed negotiation skills and proven ability to rigorously manage supplier performance at regional and global levels, using sound Supplier Relationship Management techniques.
|
|
Outstanding communication, team management and project management skills, able to engage and align a dispersed, cross-functional, cross-cultural virtual team without formal authority.
|
|
Fluent English.
|

Good package (Euro six figures) including bonus opportunity and relocation allowance where applicable.
